Committed to blog posts

I am still commited to keeping my blog current. Current influences on my day-to-day activities are the broken BMW transmission project.  The tranny blew up while riding to Daytona Beach Bike Week.  Andy was riding it and according to him, doing a bit of downshifting.  The bike started to whine badly as we were passing through Deltona, less than 30 miles from Daytona.  From the Guzzi, I could hear a very scary sound coming from the Beemer, we pulled off on the next exit and decided to call it quits on the trip.  Andy helped me find a replacement transmission, and I'm learning my way through the repair process slowly.
The other tug on my day-to-day plans is the summer trip to Tennessee I've had in the hopper.  I pulled the cushions and sofa out of the Moho and put a single bed in the back.  I also started some repair and maintenance procedures on the charging system. I'm riding out to the bus, now stored in Port Richey, for an hour or so of troubleshooting.  It's Saturday, and the bar is set pretty low.
This tablet is still a bit of a PITA, but the jurors are still deliberating.
