Volunteer activities - Is it time to commit?

Here's another ahah! moment. Since I'm cutting it close with the financial end of retirement, I've postponed making commitments to any volunteer agencies. That's because if I were to get involved with a volunteer activity, and then have to stop so that I could go back to a paid job, I wouldn't be actiing responsibly. Therefore, when the dust settles on the finances, (hopefully within the next 30 days), I'll reacess the time I'll make available to volunteer work. In the meantime, I'll continue having all of this time to myself. I'll get accustomed to it, I'm sure
