Here come the dragon boats. They came from around the country for the annual Tampa gathering. 20 paddlers synchronize their strokes propelling slender 30 foot wooden boats for 100 and 200 meters. It's an exciting event. I saw a good deal of revelry and cheering.
I may miss all the excitement. Downtown Tampa will have more and more events over the summer. Though I'm not sure how long I'll be out of town, it should be for at least June and July.
